Candela Software

The Candela C-8 has several on-board computers and systems that control all aspects of the boat. The software is updated regularly "over the air" to add features, improve performance and fix issues. Below you will find information about the software packages and the latest improvements.

Please make sure to always keep your boat up to date with the latest software to ensure the best performance and safety.

When there are new updates available for your boat you will be notified and can chose when to apply the update using the user interface in the boat.

Make sure the boat is turned on, not in use, and has a stable internet connection. Software updates will take a few minutes to complete. Do not turn the boat off during the update.
