Recommended equipment on board

Life at sea is unpredictable. Be prepared by always carrying the following equipment, as a minimum:

• Life jacket or buoyancy aid for each person
• Appropriate weatherproof clothing
• Compass
• Charts
• Anchor and line
• First aid kit, including compress and thermal blanket
• Fire extinguisher (included in boat delivery)
• Bucket
• Distress flares
• VHF radio
• Binoculars
• Knife in protective sheath
• Drinking water
